Description
ARRY-162 is an orally bioavailable non-competitive inhibitor of MEK1/2 and pERK that shows anticancer activity. Inhibition of MEK inhibits downstream signaling by IL-1, IL-6, and TNF, cytokines that act as growth factors. ARRY-162 inhibits proliferation in melanoma, non-small-cell lung cancer, head/neck cancer, and pancreatic cancer models. This compound is currently in clinical trials.
